ASIST ASIST training provides you with strategies and tools to handle a case where an individual is having suicidal thoughts. I feel more prepared if ever a case is presented in my practice.

CORE Ethics Certificate This certifies my completion of the ethics module for conducting research with human participants.	Standard First Aid and CPR HCP I am able to provide standard first aid and CPR to individuals.
Room of Horrors In this workshop, I was in an inter-professional team and had to participate in an activity determining any issues with hygiene and provide solutions to remedy the problems. This is important in the hospital when dealing with individuals who are on isolation.	Worker Health and Safety This displays that I understand how to create a healthy and safe work environment for clients, myself, and colleagues.	QHIP 2015 Speaker Series During this speaker series, I heard community individuals speak about their lived experience with a disability/disorder. This gave me a unique opportunity to hear first hand accounts of how a certain disease or condition may affect someone's daily life.
OIPEP Sports and Disability In this seminar, I learned about different avenues and organizations of adapted sport programs. In practice, I can recommend these organizations to clients' with disabilities.	Prevention of Elder Abuse In this workshop I learned about signs of elder abuse and how to prevent it. I believe this is useful in practice because with the growing population of elderly there is a possibility of elder abuse occurring and as clinicians we must know the steps to take to protect our clients.
